We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users and partners to do the same. If you believe that any question, passage, image or other material on Prepvora infringes your copyright or other rights, please tell us and we will act promptly. This process is available to everyone, including the College Board, ACT, Inc., publishers and other test-prep providers.
1. How to send a takedown notice
Email admin@prepvora.com with the subject “Copyright notice” (or write to Dhruv Shah, India (full postal address provided on request — email admin@prepvora.com)) and include:
- your physical or electronic signature, or that of the person authorised to act for the rights owner;
- identification of the copyrighted work (or other right) you say is infringed;
- the exact location of the material on Prepvora (URLs, question IDs or screenshots) so we can find it;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
These elements follow the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)); we accept notices under Indian copyright law and the laws of other countries on the same basis.
2. What we do
We acknowledge valid notices within 2 business days and, where we find the notice valid, remove or disable access to the material within 5 business days (sooner for clearly infringing material). If a user posted the material, we will notify them and forward the notice, removing personal details where appropriate. Where the material is part of our own question bank, we will review its source and remove or replace it.
3. Counter-notices
If content you submitted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you may send a counter-notice to admin@prepvora.com containing: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and telephone number; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts at the city of Prepvora’s principal place of business in India (or, if you are in the United States, the federal district court for your address) and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complainant tells us they have started legal proceedings.
4. Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
5. False notices
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
6. Our own content
Our original questions, explanations, software and designs are protected by copyright. To report someone copying Prepvora content, or to request permission to use it, email admin@prepvora.com.
