Checking Your Official Score Report
Scores are typically released online 13 days after your Saturday test date (usually on a Friday morning around 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM EST). Log into mysat.collegeboard.org, click "My SAT", and your composite score (400-1600) and section scores (200-800) will appear. You can download an official PDF Student Score Report to keep for your records.
How to Send Scores to Universities
Every registration includes 4 FREE score reports if selected up to 9 days after test day. After that window, additional score sends cost $14 per university. Check whether your target schools accept self-reported scores on the Common App (free) or require official College Board score sends during application review.
Understanding Superscoring & Score Choice
Score Choice allows you to choose which test dates to send to colleges. Most universities "superscore" the SAT — meaning they automatically combine your highest Math score from any test date with your highest Reading & Writing score from any test date to form your highest possible composite.
What to Do if Your Score is "Score Pending"
If your dashboard shows "Score Pending", do not panic. College Board releases scores in multiple batches throughout the day (morning and evening). If your score is delayed beyond 2 weeks, check your email for any notification regarding security review or test center inquiries.
Downloading Your Admission Ticket
1 to 5 days before your scheduled test date, open the Bluebook testing application on your device. Complete the quick 3-minute "Exam Setup" module. Upon completion, Bluebook will generate your official Admission Ticket with your photo and test center details. Save or print this ticket.
