Everything you need to decide between the Digital SAT and ACT.
The main difference between the SAT and ACT is structure and pacing: the Digital SAT gives 68% more time per question (71 seconds vs 49 seconds on ACT), is fully adaptive on a computer, includes a built-in Desmos calculator on all math, and contains no standalone Science section or mandatory essay.
Both the SAT and ACT are equally accepted by all accredited US colleges and universities. The choice comes down to your testing strengths: students who prefer more time per question and math reasoning usually favor the Digital SAT, whereas students with rapid reading speed often excel on the ACT.

Colleges treat the SAT and ACT completely equally. An ACT 34 is viewed identically to an SAT 1500.
Neither is easier, but they test different styles. The SAT gives you more time per question but has more complex wording. The ACT has simpler questions but very strict time limits.
Yes, but focusing your study time on one test typically yields higher score improvements than splitting your preparation between both.
