Step-by-step guide to sending official score reports.
To send SAT scores to colleges: 1. Log into your College Board account and select "Send Scores". 2. Search for your target universities by name or 4-digit college code. 3. Choose which test dates to send using Score Choice. 4. Use your 4 free score sends (available up to 9 days after test date) or pay the $14 per college fee.
Standard electronic score reports take 1 to 2 weeks to be processed and delivered to university admissions portals.
You receive 4 free score sends with registration, usable up to 9 days after testing.
Choose which test sittings to release unless a university requires all scores (e.g. Georgetown).
Many colleges now allow you to self-report scores on the Common App for free, only requiring official reports upon enrollment.
College Board charges $14 per college score report ($31 additional fee for Rush delivery).
