Official procedures and strict deadlines for canceling an SAT score.
To cancel your SAT score: 1. Submit an online Score Cancellation Request form before 11:59 PM ET on the Thursday immediately following your test date. 2. Alternatively, request a paper cancellation form from your test proctor before leaving the testing center. Once canceled, the score is permanently deleted and never calculated or reported.
Because most colleges use Score Choice or Superscoring, canceling a score is rarely necessary unless severe illness or technical failure occurred.
Ask your test proctor for an official SAT Request to Cancel Test Scores form before leaving the room.
Submit the online cancellation form via your College Board account before Thursday 11:59 PM ET following your Saturday test.
Your exam will not be scored, no record of the score will appear on score reports, and testing fees are non-refundable.
No. Once your score is published 13 days after testing, you cannot cancel it (though you can pay a fee to delete a test date permanently from your record).
