30-Day SAT Score Improvement Plan: From 1200 to 1400+

A 200-point jump in 30 days is aggressive but achievable if you train deliberately. The students who pull it off don't study more — they study the right things in the right order. Here is a week-by-week plan.

Week 1 — Diagnose, don't grind

Take one full-length, timed adaptive test. Then review every single miss and tag it: was it a content gap, a careless error, or a timing problem? This breakdown is your entire study plan. Most students discover that 40–60% of lost points are careless or timing errors — not knowledge gaps.

Week 2 — Attack your two weakest domains

From your diagnostic, pick the two lowest-accuracy domains (e.g., Advanced Math and Standard English Conventions). Drill only those with focused question sets until your accuracy crosses 75%. Depth beats breadth this week.

Week 3 — Timing and test stamina

Now layer in pacing. Do timed modules, not just untimed drills. Learn your per-question pace and practice the "skip and flag" discipline so one hard question never eats three easy ones. Take a second full-length test at the end of the week to measure progress.

Week 4 — Simulate and sharpen

Take two more full-length adaptive tests under real conditions (same time of day, no phone, strict timing). Review every miss within 24 hours while it's fresh. By now your error log should be shrinking in your trained domains.

The non-negotiables

  • Review every wrong answer — the review is where the points come from, not the test itself.
  • Practice on a real adaptive interface so test day feels familiar.
  • Keep an error log and re-attempt missed concepts a week later.

Prepvora's adaptive tests, domain analytics, and AI tutor are built to run exactly this loop — diagnose, drill, simulate, review.
